Tanishtha Sen Gupta

My creative practice works with social issues, using a combination of photography, film, text and installation. Over the years my art practice has explored representation of People of Colour in western society, as well as micro-aggressions faced by women of colour in day-to-day life. Recently,  my work has moved away from conventional ways of making art, to a more participatory approach. I work a lot with people in my immediate community, mainly students at Goldsmiths University. The majority of my artwork has been researched based, using a combination of interviews, photography and film, giving me material for documentation work.
